Work is well underway within the consortium to create the NewSkin OITB (Open Innovation Test Bed) innovative manufacturing up-scaling and testing facilities. With Research and Technical Organisation (RTO) partners (LUH, FHG, KIT, UU, SSPA, IIT, DCU, SIRRIS, AUC, ITA, TECNALIA, AIMEN, LEITAT, and ALPhANOV ) assembling the pilot plant and test sites in consultation with the Industry Associations and representatives (ECCS, AquaTT, European Cluster of Ceramics, ALPHA-RLH, DREAM, CONFINDUSTRIA, m27 Finance) and Industry partners (KEMICA, FUNDiTEC, CarbonWaters, PULVERIT, GXC coatings, Flubetech, MGM, ML, REINTRIEB, Nanofaber, GV Filtri, ChromoGenics, APERAM). NewSkin technologies are compatible with metals, polymers, ceramics and others.
NewSkin OITB facilities will provide open access to create, validate and commercialise new advanced surface nano-technologies (to TRL7 and higher) to meet the challenges of key European Industries.

NewSkin OITB provides access to facilities to upscale and test different surface technology solutions that solve challenges of key European Industries
