NewSkin OITB team participated in Battery Innovation Days 14 -15 November 2023 in Bordeaux, where 1400 representatives of key battery players exchanged (online and on-site) on the theme of advancing competitive and sustainable European Battery value chains.

NewSkin OITB project manager Carlos del Castillo (ECCS), and NewSkin partners Girolamo Mincuzzi (ALPhANOV) and Rubye Zehani (ALPHA-RLH), all took part in this event. The team were on hand to promote NewSkin facilities and services and the democases' technology accelerated in the NewSkin OITB facilities. 

This two-day event was designed to foster dialogue among researchers, policy makers, industry players and end-users to discuss the future of batteries. This third edition was organised by a cluster of European Research and Innovation initiatives including Energising, Batteries Europe, Battery 2030+, the BEPA (Batteries European Partnership Association) and IPCEI, and was hosted in Bordeaux by Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Clerens. There were different presentations and discussions on cutting-edge technologies in battery materials, cell design, manufacturing and recycling.
