NRB is operating since 1960 in the fasteners market, expanding its business all over the European area. We belong to the SIFI S.p.A. group, a familiar holding company, which is also performing in the field of cans and rubber, with a global turnover of 130 mil. Euro. NRB is specialized in manufacturing special screws, pivots and rivets according to drawing made in steel, stainless steel (1.4567, 1.4578, 1.4016 and 1.4571), aluminium, copper and brass through cold forming process. Our dynamic and efficient team is made-up by 45 persons, and will be glad to reply any technical or commercial question of yours. Our quality department is able to ensure a high level quality control system, according to the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO TS 16949 certification parameters since October 2014. Our dimensional range goes from M 1.5 to M 16 mm, with length until 200 mm for screws M </= 8 and max. 90 mm for M 10. We concentrate our main effort in researching solutions for our customer’s application problems , being specialized in serving the end user, a service which grants a technical improvement for both the sides. Our actual machine range includes: • 1 Sacma 370 (6 dies) cut 16 mm • 1 Sacma SP160 (5 dies) cut 9 mm • 1 National Formax (6 dies) cut 13mm • 4 Omega 123 (2 dies, 3 punzoni) cut 9 mm • 1 Asahi Okuma (2 dies, 3 Punzoni) cut 6 mm • 1 Nakashimada (2 blows) cut 9.5 mm for parts until M 8 x 180 mm • 5 Salvi PSV 330 (2 blows) for parts until 4 mm • 5 Salvi 476 (2 blows) for parts until M 5 • 2 Salvi DL (2 blows) for parts until M 5 x 60 mm • 4 Salvi 635 (2 blows) for parts until M 6 x 70 mm • 2 Salvi 873 (2 blows) for parts until M 10 x 90 mm • 1 Salvi CS002 (2 blows) for parts until M 5 x 60 mm provided of quick-change system • 2 Salvi CS003 (2 blows) for parts until M 8 x 80 mm provided of quick-change system • 1 Salvi DL8120 (2 blows) for parts (also with semi-hole) until 10 x 120 mm • 2 National Formax FX22 (2 blows) cut 9 x 45 mm • 1 Salvi 663E (6 blows) cut 5 x 35 mm provided of quick-change system • 1 Salvi 663 (6 blows) cut 5 x 35 mm provided of traditional-change system Furthermore, we have ordered (delivery due in November 2022) a Salvi CS003 (2 blows) cut 7 x 80 mm which will be substituting a Salvi 635 and an additional Salvi CS002 (2 blows) cut 5 x 60 mm. Quite all our cold forming machines are equipped with devices for production of semi-hole parts. The second-operation department is provided with thread-rolling machines, hexagon cutter machines and pointing machines, say total 27 machine. The sorting department deserves a special remark, being today made up by 1 Dimac (3 cameras), 1 Champs crystal ring camera machine for nuts and bushes, 1 Dimac crystal ring camera machine for nuts, washers and bushes, 2 roll machines to separate foreign parts. A strengthening of this dept. will be possible through the future arrival of an eddy current equipped machine. A nut-tapping department has been opened within July 2013 through the arrival of an Aspe tapping-machine (4 spindles), while further 2 Record nut-tapping machines (hard tapper) have been added June 2022. In September 2020 we also have renewed our packaging line, which is now made up by 1 canning and 1 kit maker machine. Also the washing facility, already renewed to a modified alcohol in 2016, has been substituted in 2021 through the purchase of a machine with increased capacity to 1000 kg/rack. The range of the applicable treatments is really wide, from heat treatments as case hardening, tempering, annealing until the coatings as the most traditional zinc plating (different colours and thicknesses), nickel plating, copper plating, silver plating, brass plating, ZnNi, Geomet….
