Futurechromes S. L.
Futurechromes S.L. is a technological company aimed to exploit and commercialize a nanotechnology-based photochromic materials of very high stability and fast response (less than a minute for the fading process). It owns two patents already granted in several key countries and 8 years of experience in encapsulation and films formation processes. Its main targets are ophthalmic lenses, sportwears and smart windows. Our main business model is licensing the technology to chemical manufacturers or product makers, willing to integrate our technology. We developed our own prototypes of glasses, helmets, printed cellulose papers, smart windows and flexible window films, which could be attached to new and existing windows. We seek for partners for scaling up (e.g. roll-to-roll) and validating the technology in relevant environments (e.g. climate chambers).
